In the tight knit South American golf community, Machi Golf has found its niche in discerning golf clubs and players
This young brand specializing in high quality leather products has quickly gained the respect of professional golfers in the region.
In 2017, Argentinians Diego Eidman and Maximiliano Gilardone (aka Machi) joined forces and produced a few headcovers for friends and notable golfers.
Diego, a marketing specialist, leveraged his friendships and access to South American tour players while Maximiliano, a textile manufacturer, sourced the best local leather and materials. Soon, Machi’s products were embraced by two-time major winner Angel Cabrera and fellow Argentinians, Emiliano Grillo and Fabián Gómez, quickly elevating the status of the brand.
Fast forward to today and Machi Golf has expanded its product line to offer custom leather bags, yardage book covers, accessories and hats. Machi is also preparing to launch a line of golf shirts soon.
Machi Golf is also expanding to other countries in Latin America –especially Chile, Paraguay, Colombia. They are also breaking into the U.S. market through direct orders, golf clubs, and select golf academies, Bishops Gate, Hernan Rey and David Leadbetter.
“We are coming slowly into the United States market, although we are already selling to a few golf academies, clubs, and companies”, said Diego Eidman, who is striving to maintain the artisanal features of Machi’s products while growing the company organically.
Diego and Maximiliano plan to maintain the same quality and affordable pricing for their upcoming textile collection of golf shirts and hats.
