A look at women's & junior's golf fashion from the 2019 PGA Show
Royal Albartross (booth #6383) new ‘Runway” collection of women’s golf and lifestyle shoes is the perfect fusion of performance and fashion. They look like an upscale skimmer shoe but they have traction and support for the course. Choose from hair-on calf leather leopard print with pink cap toe accent, black quilted leather, fuchsia and orange combo or beige and black. Did we mention no more sock lines? Yay!
Abacus Sportswear (booth #5547) returns to the PGA Show with its functional technical clothing and Swedish design for men, women and juniors. We’re particularly drawn to the women’s Troon hybrid jacket that is breathable, warm, stretchable and windproof in a modern diamond print front and white sleeves.
Movetes (booth #5251) embodies the philosophy of playing sports for life and designing around that lifestyle. An example is the Impact Sweatshirt made from luxurious double knit cotton ponte with grosgrain detail and a relaxed fit. This is how you take a comfortable wardrobe staple and ratchet it up to be stylish.
Turtles and Tees (booth #4358) keeps junior golfers in vogue with its fun and functional apparel line. Debuting at the show is Meet Kate, one of two new dresses introduced for Spring 2019. Kate is available in the Turtles print in pale pink and is made with a moisture-wicking, lightweight fabric. Matching mesh biker shorts are included. Available in sizes 4T-14/16.
inPhorm (booth #6895) creates stylish, feminine eco-forward tennis, golf, yoga and athleisure wear from luxurious performance fabrics with an eye for detail in construction. One of the Fall ’19 outfits we are keeping our eye on is the Iris half-zip with mesh sleeve paired with the stretch woven skirt.
Belyn Key (booth #5546) Biltmore Collection for women successfully mixes athletic, classic and stylish looks that can be mixed and matched. The Keystone half sleeve print top looks like a blouse with the front placket but it’s a pullover style - no buttons, snaps, zips - fully closed. The jersey polyester and spandex fabric blend is moisture-wicking and easy care but lightweight and has a silky feel.
Denise Cronwall Activewear (booth #4361) golf skorts all have a bit of flounce and flair to them whether it’s subtle ruffles, layers of contrasting fabric, side pleats or decorative mesh panels - each piece has its own personality. Choices of lengths is a popular feature as is the flattering fit and quality fabrication. Collections featured at the show are Shabby Chic, City Etch and Royal Sport.
Puma Golf (booth #273) Brea Fusion Sport golf shoes for women gets its name from fusing performance with style and features a fusion foam insole for lasting comfort. The slip-on adjustable cord style has popular quilted, waterproof mesh uppers and grip zone traction soles. The Brea comes in beige, black and grey.
Foray Golf (booth #4391) returns for its second PGA Show appearance, this time sharing a booth with Malbon Golf. Foray was founded by fashion industry veterans and brings modern, sometimes bold styling to women’s golf apparel.
