Let's try it again: Players week is here
After being canceled following the first round of play last March, the PGA Tour's Players Championship takes center stage this week. Some of the game's most notable figures arrive at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., on drastically different trajectories.
Rickie Fowler apparently has fallen into such obscurity that starters can't be bothered to get his name right and commentators are comfortable roasting him on Twitter.
While the 2015 Players champ is sliding in the wrong direction, his spring-break pal Jordan Spieth continues to show flashes of the brilliance which which he won three legs of the career Grand Slam before his 24th birthday.
As players finish their rounds at TPC Sawgrass, they can thank last week's winner, Bryson DeChambeau, for a new out-of-bounds rule on the 18th hole. We break it all down in this Players week edition of "Up and Down."
