Birthday boy returns to his PGA Tour roots
Rory McIlroy celebrates his 32nd birthday this week, but he's searching for the form that has propelled him to major championships, world No. 1 and Ryder Cup glory. Perhaps he'll take some inspiration from Quail Hollow, where he notched his first PGA Tour victory, back in 2010.
He won't be the only star in Charlotte, N.C., this week, however. The Wells Fargo Championship features the strongest field we've seen since last month at Augusta, and there's one player among the favorites, in particular, who already owns a career-defining moment at Quail Hollow.
And just as soon as soccer's Super League goes away, the Premier Golf League resurfaces, this time with a tantalizing offer for the game's top stars.
We break it all down in this month's first edition of "Up and Down."
