A chipping tip to change your game

Many golfers can improve their golf games by improving their technique around the green. In the latest edition of "Quick Reads," Martin Hall, Golf Channel host and director of instruction at the Club at Ibis in West Palm Beach, Fla., says that you can "pinch the inch" to hit chip shots crisply and under control every time you need it. The key to the move: focus on the inch of turf in front of the ball. Your scorecard will thank you for it.
