How to handle uphill lies

December 15, 2020 03:33 PM

In the second episode of our series, Kyla Inaba explains how to make pure contact while standing on an uphill lie. The biggest mistake golfers make? "Leaning in," rather than lining up their shoulders to match the slope. This drill includes a few easy steps to get yourself properly set up on the upslope, so that you can stay balanced and pull off a solid swing.

Inaba is a PGA of Canada professional and the academy manager at Predator Ridge Resort in Vernon, British Columbia. She also runs the "Swing Like a Girl" program, which provides a platform for women to start the game, improve their current skillset or get out on the course and network.
