Bob Bubka and Jay Randolph Jr. salute Nick Taylor after the Canadian holds off Phil Mickelson at Pebble Beach, and the co-hosts examine the proposed Premier Golf League and other topics
At an event filled with captains of industry and all manner of celebrity, Canadian Nick Taylor emerged as the top star at Pebble Beach. Taylor held off all challengers, notably Phil Mickelson, to win the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am for his second PGA Tour title and his first in more than five years. “Amazing,” said Taylor, who will enjoy a dramatic change in his 2020 schedule. Bob Bubka and Jay Randolph Jr. analyze Taylor’s victory and Mickelson’s final-round struggles. Also, Jordan Spieth (remember him?) finds a bit of his old magic in the final round to post his first top-10 result in four months. The co-hosts also debate the proposed Premier Golf League, with input from Tiger Woods. The feature interview: Volvik’s Wes Whittingham.
