The inside story of Snell Golf

October 04, 2020 12:23 PM

In this week's episode, host Paul Liberatore interviews Dean Snell, the founder of Snell Golf and one of the minds behind the Titleist Pro V1. Snell Golf began in 2015 when Snell started the company with the goal of bringing excellent golf balls to players for a fair price. Snell's business started fast, with excellent sales within the first two years. He wasn't flying blindly. He had worked at TaylorMade Golf for 18 years, including time in research and development for some of TaylorMade’s most successful golf ball models. He also worked at Titleist, where he helped with the design of the wildly successful Pro V1 line. Before all of that, Snell worked at BF Goodrich, where he helped design the aerodynamics for some of its helicopter components.

With more than 50 patents granted to his new company, Dean Snell has a great blueprint, and there's no limit for Snell Golf’s potential.
