10 LPGA players have shot at season money title this week

Jin Young Ko leads, but CME Group Tour Championship will award $1.5 million to winner

10: Number of players at the top of the LPGA’s money list who have a chance at winning the season earnings title this week. The season-ending CME Group Tour Championship at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Fla., will award an LPGA-record $1.5 million to the winner (tee times). South Korea’s Jin Young Ko, a four-time winner in 2019, leads the season earnings, with $2,714,281.

11: Number of years that the European Tour has played its season-ending event in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The $8 million DP World Tour Championship begins today at Jumeirah Golf Estates (tee times).

28: Number of players to earn tour cards for the European Tour’s 2019-20 season after the Final Qualifying Stage on Wednesday at Lumine Golf Club in Tarragona, Spain. Denmark’s Benjamin Poke led the 108-hole tournament with a 25-under total (scores).

156: Number of players who will be competing over two courses at the PGA Tour’s RSM Classic, which begins today at Sea Island (Ga.) Resort. The Plantation Course, newly renovated by tournament host Davis Love III, will join the Seaside Course as joint sites of the first two rounds. The final 36 holes will be played on Seaside. The RSM Classic is the 11th and final event of the Tour’s 2019 fall calendar (tee times).
