Number of professional tournaments that England’s Paul Casey has won at Wentworth Club in Virginia Water, England, site of this week’s BMW PGA Championship. Casey, 42, won the 2006 HSBC World March Play and the 2009 BMW PGA at the suburban London site. Casey, who is No. 13 in the Official World Golf Ranking, won in his most recent start, two weeks ago at the Porsche European Open. He will be one of the favorites when play begins today in the European Tour’s flagship event (tee times).

Number of past champions in the PGA Tour’s Sanderson Farms Championship who will be paired together today in Jackson, Miss. Defending champion Cameron Champ, 2017 winner Ryan Armour and 2010 titlist Bill Haas will play in the 12:31 p.m. CDT group on No. 1 at Country Club of Jackson (tee times).

Number of starts across the PGA and Champions tours for Jeff Sluman, who will hit the milestone at the Champions Tour’s Sanford International, which begins Friday in Sioux Falls, S.D. Sluman, 62, a six-time winner on the Champions Tour, will be making his 300th career start on the 50-and-older circuit. He also won six times, in 700 starts, on the PGA Tour. Only Jay Haas, who will be making his 1,103rd combined start on the two tours this week, has more tournaments under his belt than Sluman. The late Miller Barber made the most combined starts on the two tours, with 1,314 (711 on PGA Tour, 603 on Champions). Play begins Friday at Minnehaha Country Club (tee times).
