Scheduled: A court date for Danish golfer Thorbjorn Olesen, who was charged by British authorities with sexual assault, being drunk on an aircraft and common assault on a flight July 29 from Nashville, Tenn., to London (“In the news,” Aug. 2). Olesen is due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Aug. 21. According to witnesses and U.K. media reports, Olesen, 29, groped a female passenger in the first-class section of the British Airways flight and urinated in the aisle. Olesen, who was returning to his home in London after the WGC FedEx St. Jude Invitational in Memphis, was released pending further investigation. Olesen’s attorney issued a statement to U.K. media: “Thorbjorn has cooperated fully with the police during their investigation, but while the legal proceedings are still ongoing he unfortunately cannot comment on this matter at this time."
