Score for American Billy Kennerly, who held a one-stroke lead after the first round of the Web.com Tour’s Lincoln Land Championship in Springfield, Ill. Kennerly, 26, a 2015 Clemson graduate who is winless in three seasons on the developmental tour, missed the cut last week in the BMW Charity Pro-Am. He offset two bogeys with eight birdies to post a 6-under score at Panther Creek Country Club. American Matthew Campbell, who played college golf at nearby Illinois, stood second at 5-under 66 (scores).
Score for first-round co-leaders Jenny Shin and Katherine Perry at the Meijer LPGA Classic in Grand Rapids, Mich. Play was suspended after a seven-hour weather delay at Blythefield Country Club. Colombia’s Mariajo Uribe, boosted by a hole-in-one at the par-3 15th hole, stood alone in third place at 5-under 67 (scores).
