Position in the Official World Golf Ranking for Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy, who improved one spot after his runaway seven-stroke victory Sunday at the RBC Canadian Open (“Keeping score,” June 10). American Brooks Koepka was No. 1 for a fourth consecutive week, followed by American Dustin Johnson at No. 2. McIlroy, 30, a four-time major champion, has spent seven stints at No. 1 in the ranking, for a total of 95 weeks, the most recent in September 2015.


Odds for co-favorites Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson to win the U.S. Open this week at Pebble Beach (Calif.) Golf Links, according to Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook. Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy were listed as the co-No. 3 choices, at 10-1. Jordan Spieth was a 14-1 pick, followed by Patrick Cantlay, at 16-1.
