Number of the top 20 of the Official World Golf Ranking who will be playing in the PGA Tour’s AT&T Byron Nelson this week in Dallas. Only No. 3-ranked Brooks Koepka and No. 19 Patrick Reed were listed among the OWGR’s top 20 who were entered in the tournament, which begins Thursday at Trinity Forest Golf Club (tee times). The Nelson, which dates to 1944 and honors one of the game's iconic champions, precedes next week's PGA Championship.


Number of Kansas City-area products – Chase Hanna, Harry Higgs and Joseph Winslow – who will be competing this week in the Tour’s KC Golf Classic in Kansas City, Mo. Hanna, a Kansas City native who lives in nearby Leawood, Kan., will make his 2019 Tour debut. Hanna, who played college golf at Kansas, competed on the Latinoamerica Tour last season. Winslow, from Overland Park, Kan., has made four cuts in six starts this season, including a T-27 last week in Nashville, Tenn. Play begins Thursday at Blue Hills Country Club (tee times).
