Number of victories in the past two Zurich Classic of New Orleans tournaments who are represented in today’s 12:57 p.m. CDT pairing on No. 1 at TPC Louisiana in Avondale, La. Sweden’s Jonas Blixt and Australia’s Cameron Smith, the 2017 champions, will be paired with Americans Billy Horschel and Scott Piercy, the 2018 winners. The tournament will be composed of 80 two-man teams. The first and third rounds will be played with the four-ball (better ball) format, and the second and fourth rounds will use foursomes (alternate shot). After Friday’s play, the cut will be made to the low 35 teams and ties (tee times).

Number of LPGA tournaments to be played in California this year, with this week’s Hugel-Air Premia LA Open as No. 3. Play begins today at Wilshire Country Club in Los Angeles (tee times). The tour moves up the coast next week to Daly City for the LPGA Mediheal Championship at Lake Merced Golf Club.

Number of finishes of 14th or better in eight starts this season for Tyler McCumber, who leads the Web.com Tour’s points standings entering this week’s Dormie Network Classic. Play begins today at Briggs Ranch Golf Club in San Antonio, where McCumber, 33, will seek his first Web.com Tour victory in his 34th career start. McCumber, the son of 10-time PGA Tour winner Mark McCumber, won three times in Canada last year, earning a promotion to the Web.com Tour (tee times).

Number of players representing nine nations who have won the Trophee Hassan II since the event became part of the European Tour in 2010. Play in Year 10 begins today at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat, Morocco. The European Tour will play the Trophee Hassan II at the club’s Red Course while the Ladies European Tour will play the Lalla Meryem Cup concurrently on the adjacent Blue Course. Players will share the practice range, putting green and players’ lounge (men’s tee times; women’s tee times).
