Number of players on the PGA Tour who have won the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in its former stroke-play format as well as the current two-man team format. American Billy Horschel won the 2013 title in stroke play and then teamed with American Scott Piercy to win the 2018 event in the two-man format. This week, they will return to TPC Louisiana in Avondale, La., to defend their title (tee times).

Number of European professional tournaments to be held concurrently this week at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat, Morocco. The European Tour will play the Trophee Hassan II at the club’s Red Course while the Ladies European Tour will play the Lalla Meryem Cup on the neighboring Blue Course. France’s Alexander Levy and Sweden’s Jenny Haglund return to defend their respective titles (men’s tee times; women’s tee times).

Number of holes played in a 24-hour period by Eric Byrnes, a former Major League Baseball player who has become an endurance athlete since retiring from baseball in 2010. Brynes set the world record from 7 a.m. PDT Monday to 7 a.m. PDT Tuesday at Half Moon Bay (Calif.) Golf Links' Ocean Course. Byrnes, 43, played the outfield in 2000-2010 for the Oakland A's, Colorado Rockies, Baltimore Orioles, Arizona Diamondbacks and Seattle Mariners.
