Rory McIlroy will tee off Thursday at Augusta National Golf Club in the first round of the Masters in a bid to become the sixth member of that elite club. McIlroy, 29, of Northern Ireland, was listed by Las Vegas oddsmakers as the tournament favorite, at 7-1 (tee times).


Amount, in dollars, that an undisclosed bettor placed on Tiger Woods to win the Masters at 14-1 odds with British sports book William Hill, according to Darren Rovell, writing for If Woods were to win, the bettor would take home $1.19 million. William Hill moved Woods’ odds to 10-1 after taking the wager.
