Position in the Rolex Rankings for Jin Young Ko, who won the LPGA's ANA Inspiration on Sunday for her first major championship. Ko, 23, of South Korea, improved four positions in the ranking, bumping countrywoman Sung Hyun Park from the top spot after a five-week reign. Ko is the fifth South Korean to reach No. 1 since the 2006 debut of the world rankings, after Inbee Park, Sung Hyun Park, So Yeon Ryu and Jiyai Shin. Lexi Thompson, who finished third in the ANA, moved up three spots, to No. 6, and passed No. 8 Nelly Korda as the top-ranked American.

Odds for Rory McIlroy, the favorite, to win the Masters this week at Augusta National Golf Club, according to Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook. McIlroy, 29, of Northern Ireland and the No. 3-ranked player in the world, needs only the Masters title to complete the career Grand Slam. American Dustin Johnson, the No. 2 player in the Official World Golf Ranking, was the second choice to win the green jacket, at 10-1. England's Justin Rose, who replaced Johnson at No. 1 in the world on Monday, was the third selection, at 12-1. American Tiger Woods, a four-time Masters champion who is seeking his first major title since 2008, was the oddsmakers’ fourth pick, at 14-1.

Worst finish in five career starts in the Masters Tournament for American Jordan Spieth, who also owns one green jacket, two runners-up and a third place at Augusta National.
