Number of players who have won a FedEx Cup title, the Players Championship, at least one major championship and a World Golf Championships title in their career. Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy won the Players Championship on Sunday, joining Tiger Woods and Henrik Stenson in the elite club. McIlroy, 29, shot 2-under 70 at TPC Sawgrass’ Stadium Course in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., for a 16-under 272 total and one-stroke victory over American Jim Furyk (67). It was the 15th PGA Tour victory for McIlroy, a four-time major champion (scores).


Number of starts on the European Tour before Italy’s Guido Migliozzi posted his first victory. Migliozzi, 22, was the only player in the Magical Kenya Open to post four consecutive rounds in the 60s as he prevailed at Karen Country Club in Nairobi. Migliozzi shot a final-round 2-under 69 for a 16-under 268 total and one-stroke victory over South Africans Justin Harding (66) and Louis De Jager (69) and Spain’s Adri Arnaus (70). Migliozzi, a Q-School graduate in November after spending the past three seasons on Europe’s developmental Challenge and Alps tours, had made only two cuts in seven starts this season before his breakthrough in Kenya. He won three times on the Alps Tour (scores).


Total strokes over 54 holes for Malaysia’s Kelly Tan and American Demi Runas, who set the tournament scoring record at 13 under at the Symetra Tour’s Florida’s Natural Charity Classic. Tan won with a birdie on the first playoff hole, the par-5 18th at Winter Haven (Fla.) Country Club, for her first victory in only her second career start on the LPGA’s developmental tour. Moments earlier, Tan had eagled the 18th hole to shoot 2-under 70 (scores).
