Number of strokes under par for first-round co-leaders Tommy Fleetwood and Keegan Bradley at the PGA Tour’s Players Championship on Thursday. Fleetwood, 28, of England, and Bradley, 32, an American, shot 65 at TPC Sawgrass’ Stadium Course in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. South Korea’s Byeong Hun An and American Brian Harman shared third place at 66. Tiger Woods bogeyed the 18th hole to shoot 70. Elsewhere, theatrics dominated the first round. Harris English holed a 3-iron for an albatross on the par-5 11th hole, the fifth albatross in tournament history, en route to a 70. Ryan Moore used a 54-degree wedge to ace the 121-yard par-3 17th, only the ninth ace on the island green, and shot 67 (scores).


First-round scores for co-leaders Jack Singh Brar of England and Louis De Jager of South Africa at the European Tour’s Magical Kenya Open at Karen Country Club in Nairobi. India’s Gaganjeet Bhullar stood third at 6-under 65 (scores).
