Number of consecutive times that Lee Trevino will have played in the PNC Father-Son Challenge when the 21st edition of the event begins Saturday at Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Fla. Trevino will team with his son Daniel in the 36-hole scramble (tee times). Among the 20 two-man teams, 19 players have won major championships. The unofficial Champions Tour event will award $1.085 million in prize money, including $200,000 to the winning team.

Score for Oliver Bekker, who led after one round of the Alfred Dunhill Championship in Malelane, South Africa. Bekker, 34, of South Africa, rattled off four consecutive birdies, on Nos. 11-14 at Leopard Creek Country Club, on the edge of Kruger National Park. He is an eight-time winner on the Sunshine Tour and seeking his first victory on the European Tour. Bekker’s 6-under score led Australian Dimitrios Papadatos by one stroke (scores).
