Finau, 29, steadily has risen in the world order since he ended 2017 at No. 40. He posted 11 top-10 finishes in 28 starts in the 2017-18 PGA Tour season and made his first Ryder Cup team. In the 2018-19 season, Finau posted a runner-up, at the WGC HSBC Champions, in three starts.


Number of places in the Official World Golf Ranking that American Kurt Kitayama has soared this year. Kitayama, 25, who won the Afrasia Bank Mauritius Open on Sunday, stands 198th in the world order after having started the year at No. 1,187.
