New rules will offer bunker relief … for a price
Many of you will be pleased to know that the blue coats at the USGA do indeed have empathy for those of us who are bunker-challenged (“From the Morning Read inbox,” Nov. 5).

Under the new rules, beginning Jan. 1, you may remove your ball from a bunker for the low, low price of two strokes (video).

That might be a bargain for many of us hacks.
