DeChambeau shot 5-under 66 on Sunday for a 21-under 263 total and one-stroke victory in the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas. American Patrick Cantlay (65), the defending champion, placed second at 20-under 264, followed by American Sam Ryder (62) at 19-under 265. DeChambeau, 25, starting his third season on Tour, won the Northern Trust and Dell Technologies titles in consecutive weeks during the FedEx Cup playoffs in late summer. DeChambeau, who earned $1.26 million from the $7 million purse, owns five career victories in 73 starts (scores).

Number of multiple winners on the LPGA this season as Japan’s Nasa Hataoka won the Toto Japan Classic. Hataoka, 19, shot 5-under 67 for a 14-under 202 total and two-stroke victory at Seta Golf Club in Sjoga, Japan. Hataoka, who also won the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship this season, joins three-time winners Ariya Jutanugarn and Sung Hyun Park and two-time winner Brooke Henderson as multiple champions this year. Hataoka earned $225,000 from the $1.5 million purse (scores).

Number of career victories on the European Tour for England’s Justin Rose, who won the Turkish Airlines Open and reclaimed the top spot in the world ranking. After making bogey on the last two holes at Regnum Carya Golf and Spa Resort in Belek, Turkey, Rose parred the 18th hole to defeat China’s Haotong Li in a playoff. Rose, 38, earned €1,025,132 (about $1.168 million) from the $7 million purse. Rose had been No. 1 for two weeks in September before losing the top spot in the Official World Golf Ranking to Dustin Johnson, who held it for four weeks before surrendering it to Brooks Koepka for the past fortnight (scores).
