Announced: By the LPGA, that BMW Group Korea will sponsor a tournament on the women’s tour in South Korea in October 2019. The tournament will be played at LPGA International Busan, the women’s tour’s first facility outside of the U.S. The LPGA already plays two events in South Korea as part of the tour’s seven-tournament Asia Swing in the fall. BMW, the German automaker, also sponsors the BMW Championship on the PGA Tour and two events on the European Tour.
Released: Tee times for the 73rd U.S. Women Open, to be played May 31-June 3 at Shoal Creek (Ala.) Club.
Extended: Through 2021 by Atlantic Beach (Fla.) Country Club, a deal to play host to the Web.com Tour Championship. This year’s tournament will be playedSept. 20-23.
