Number of career PGA Tour victories, including two this season, for Bubba Watson, who rolled in the WGC Dell Technologies Match Play at Austin (Texas) Country Club. In a matchup of former Georgia college players, Watson won the first five holes in the final match against Kevin Kisner and cruised to a 7-and-6 victory. Watson went 6-0-1 for the week, including a 3-and-2 defeat of Justin Thomas in the morning semifinals (scores).

Strokes under par for Eun-Hee Ji in winning the LPGA’s Kia Classic. Ji, 31, of South Korea, shot a final-round 5-under 67 for a 272 total and two-stroke victory at Aviara Golf Club in Carlsbad, Calif. Americans Cristie Kerr (68) and Lizette Salas (69) shared second at 14-under 274. It was Ji’s fourth LPGA victory. The tournament was the first of four stops in six weeks in California, with a one-week diversion to Hawaii, for the LPGA (scores).

Strokes under par that Julian Etulain finished to win the Tour’s Chitimacha Louisiana Open at Le Triomphe Golf Club in Broussard, La. Etulain, 29, of Argentina, closed with a 4-under 67 for a 265 total and two-stroke victory over American Taylor Moore (63). Distance, in yards, of the drive that Dustin Johnson slammed on the par-5 12th hole Friday at the WGC Dell Technologies Match Play at Austin (Texas) Country Club. Johnson and Kevin Kisner, who was outdriven by 139 yards despite a 350-yard blast of his own, halved the hole with birdies. Kisner, the eventual Match Play runner-up to Bubba Watson, defeated Johnson, 4 and 3, sending the world’s top-ranked golfer packing from group play with an 0-3 record. To add insult to an early exit for Johnson, statistics in the Match Play do not count, so his drive will not go down as a Tour record. The longest drive on Tour during the ShotLink era, which dates to 2003, is 476 yards, by Davis Love III.
