Number of amateur victories in as many weeks for Yujeong Son, who cruised to a six-stroke victory Saturday in the Harder Hall Women’s Invitational in Sebring, Fla. Son, 16, a native South Korean who lives in Norman, Okla., closed with a 3-over 75 on Saturday at Harder Hall Country Club for an even-par 216 total. The first round was scrapped because of cold weather. Two weeks ago, Son won her second consecutive Dixie Amateur title before winning the Allstate Sugar Bowl Tommy Moore Memorial for the third straight year. This week, she will be in St. Augustine, Fla., for the AJGA Annika Invitational USA.
Margin of victory, in strokes, for Dustin Johnson in the Sentry Tournament of Champions on Sunday. Johnson shot a final-round 8-under 65 for a 24-under 268 total at Kapalua (Hawaii) Resort’s Plantation Course. With his 17th career PGA Tour victory, and second at Kapalua, Johnson extends to 11 his streak of consecutive winning seasons on Tour and solidified his No. 1 spot in the Official World Golf Ranking. Spain’s Jon Rahm (69) placed second at 16-under 276, and American Brian Harman (72) finished third at 15-under 277.
