German erases 3 bogeys to shoot 3-under 67 in Champions Tour major event at Southern Hills
3: Number of strokes under par that Germany’s Alex Cejka stood in holding the lead Thursday at the Champions Tour’s KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship before rain suspended play in Tulsa, Okla. Despite making three bogeys, Cejka managed to shoot 3-under 67 at Southern Hills before weather interrupted play. American Steve Stricker also was 3 under but had played only seven holes. Spain’s Miguel Angel Jimenez, Canada’s Mike Weir and American John Riegger were tied at 68. The Senior PGA is the second major championship on the Champions Tour. (For scores, click here.)
