2 of world’s top 4-ranked players will be grouped together at Hugel-Air Premia L.A. Open, which begins Wednesday
2: Number of the top four-ranked female players in the world who will be paired together when the LPGA’s Hugel-Air Premia L.A. Open begins Wednesday at Wilshire Country Club in Los Angeles. South Korea’s Inbee Park, who is No. 2 in the Rolex Rankings, will be paired with No. 4 Nelly Korda of the U.S. and England’s Charley Hull in the 7:59 a.m. PDT group on No. 1 for Wednesday’s first round. Park and Korda have won already this season. The world’s top-ranked female, South Korea’s Jin Young Ko, will be in the next group, at 8:10 a.m. on No. 10, with American Austin Ernst and Thailand’s Moriya Jutanugarn. The $1.5 million tournament marks the last of seven U.S. events to open the season before the LPGA heads to Asia for stops in Singapore and Thailand. For first-round pairings, click here.
