Cink, 47, a Georgia resident and Georgia Tech alumnus, will be among 68 players to have reached the PGA Tour milestone
600: Number of career starts on the PGA Tour for American Stewart Cink when he tees it up at the RSM Classic, which begins Thursday at Sea Island (Ga.) Resort. He will be the 68th player with 600 or more career starts on the PGA Tour. Cink, 47, who played college golf at Georgia Tech and resides in Duluth, Ga., won the Safeway Open in September for his seventh career victory and his first since he claimed the 2009 British Open in a memorable playoff against Tom Watson. Cink tied for fourth at the Houston Open three weeks ago before missing the cut in the Houston Open (tee times).
