With 5 consecutive top-20 finishes worldwide, the Englishman will be seeking his 26th career victory on the European Tour this week
5: Number of consecutive top-20 finishes worldwide for Lee Westwood, who will be looking for his 26th victory on the European Tour this week at the inaugural Scottish Championship in St. Andrews, Scotland. Westwood, 47, who is No. 41 in the world, sandwiched four top-20 results on his home tour around a T-13 four weeks ago at the U.S. Open. His most recent victory came in January at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. He ranks eighth in career victories on the European Tour. Play begins Thursday at Fairmont St. Andrews’ Torrance Course and wraps up a four-event UK Swing, the second such extended stay in the United Kingdom since the season restarted in July (tee times).
