10: Number of years ago that American Lexi Thompson, at age 15, made her professional debut on a sponsor exemption at the ShopRite LPGA Classic. Thompson missed the cut that week, but she has won 11 times on the LPGA, including a major championship, in the ensuing years. As the defending champion and No. 10 in the Rolex Rankings, Thompson will be among the favorites this week for the ShopRite event at Seaview Hotel’s Bay Course in Galloway, N.J. No. 2 Nelly Korda of the U.S. and No. 4 Brooke Henderson of Canada, who are paired together in the first two rounds, also are entered (tee times).
