American seeks a 3rd consecutive LPGA victory as Ladies Scottish Open begins Thursday
94: Number of strokes under par in her past seven starts for American Danielle Kang, who will be seeking her third consecutive LPGA victory this week at the Ladies Scottish Open in North Berwick, Scotland. Dating to her victory at the 2019 Buick LPGA Shanghai on Oct. 17, Kang has played 25 of 27 rounds under par, resulting in three victories, a runner-up and two third-place finishes. She has compiled a 68.22 scoring average during the streak and risen to No. 2 in the Rolex Rankings, behind South Korea's Jin Young Ko, who is not playing this week. The Scottish Open begins Thursday at The Renaissance Club (tee times) in a prelude to next week’s Women’s British Open at Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland.
