5: Number of strokes by which England’s Andy Sullivan leads the European Tour’s English Championship entering Sunday’s final round. Sullivan shot 7-under 64 on Saturday to run his three-day total to 21-under 192 at Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel & Country Club in Ware, England. England’s Steven Brown (66) held second place at 16-under 197. Sullivan set the mood early, driving the 347-yard first hole to within tap-in range for an eagle-2, then adding a birdie at the par-5 second hole. Sullivan, 33, is looking for his fourth career victory on the European Tour but his first since 2015, when he won three times en route to a berth on Europe’s 2016 Ryder Cup team. The tournament is the third stop on the six-event U.K. Swing being played in Britain (scores).
