Englishman improves 94 spots, to No. 130, after winning his 1st title on the European Tour

130: Position in the Official World Golf Ranking for England’s Sam Horsfield after he won the European Tour’s Hero Open to ascend to a career high in the world order. Horsfield, 23, who moved to the U.S. at age 5 and played college golf at Florida before returning to his homeland, was ranked No. 224 after he tied for 10th a week earlier at the Betfred British Masters. Horsfield wasn’t the only winner on the weekend to achieve a career high in the world ranking.
