Americans make 7 birdies apiece to total 14 points under the modified Stableford scoring in the PGA Tour opposite-field event
14: Number of points that co-leaders Adam Schenk and Ryan Moore totaled Thursday in the first round of the PGA Tour’s Barracuda Championship in Truckee, Calif. The $3.5 million tournament, played at Tahoe Mountain Club’s Old Greenwood course opposite the Tour's $10.5 million WGC FedEx St. Jude Invitational, uses a modified Stableford scoring format. Schenk and Moore made seven birdies, at two points apiece, with no blemishes on their cards. Americans Robert Streb and Patrick Rodgers shared third place with Ireland’s Seamus Power at 11 (scores).
