Dustin Johnson extends PGA Tour winning streak

American claims Travelers Championship for his 21st career title and 13th consecutive season in which he has won at least once

13: Number of consecutive seasons that American Dustin Johnson has won at least once on the PGA Tour as he extended the streak Sunday by winning the Travelers Championship. Johnson, 36, closed with a 3-under 67 for a 19-under 261 and one-stroke victory at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn. American Kevin Streelman (67) finished second at 18-under 262. American Will Gordon, playing on a sponsor exemption, closed with a 64 for a 263 total and a share of third place with Canada’s Mackenzie Hughes (67), earning special temporary membership on the PGA Tour. It was the 21st career victory for Johnson, who was making his 267th career start. Johnson entered the week at No. 6 in the Official World Golf Ranking. Brendon Todd, who led Johnson by two strokes entering the final round, made a triple bogey at the par-4 12th hole, effectively ending his bid for a third victory this season (scores).
