DeChambeau rides a solid stretch of play since the season restart as he seeks his first victory on the PGA Tour since late 2018
5: Number of consecutive top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour for American Bryson DeChambeau, who enters this week’s Travelers Championship with a hot hand. Golfodds.com installed him as the 9-1 favorite. DeChambeau, who is No. 11 in the Official World Golf Ranking, tied for third in the season restart two weeks ago in Fort Worth, Texas, before he tied for eighth last week in Hilton Head Island, S.C. DeChambeau is seeking his first worldwide victory since Jan. 27, 2019, when he won the European Tour’s Omega Dubai Desert Classic. His winless streak has been a bit longer on the PGA Tour, dating to Nov. 4, 2018, and his victory at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, when he was a career-high fifth in the world ranking. Play begins Thursday at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn. (tee times).
