Koepka brothers make Travelers a family affair

Brooks Koepka will be joined this week at TPC River Highlands by kid brother Chase, who earned a Monday-qualifying spot for the PGA Tour's Travelers Championship

2: Number of Koepkas entered in the PGA Tour’s Travelers Championship, which begins Thursday at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn. Brooks Koepka, 30, a four-time major champion who is ranked No. 4 in the Official World Golf Ranking, will be joined by little brother Chase, 26, who survived a five-for-two playoff at Ellington (Conn.) Country Club on Monday for one of the two spots this week. It will be the third start on the PGA Tour season for Chase Koepka. In the fall, he tied for 67th at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas and finished T-46 two weeks later at the CJ Cup in South Korea. David Pastore earned the other Monday-qualifying spot as he and Koepka shot 67s. Brooks Koepka will be playing in one of the featured groupings, teeing off on No. 1 at 12:50 p.m. EDT with Americans Justin Thomas and Xander Schauffele, both of whom also are ranked among the top 10 in the world. Chase Koepka will be paired with Americans Hank Lebioda and Joseph Bramlett at 8:45 a.m. on No. 10 (tee times).
