Both shoot bogey-free 9-under 63s in King & Bear Classic at World Golf Village
63: First-round scores for Australian Brett Coletta and American Vince India, who shared the lead Wednesday at the Korn Ferry Tour’s King & Bear Classic in St. Augustine, Fla. Coletta and India played bogey-free golf, making nine birdies apiece at World Golf Village. Seven players were tied at 65. Coletta, 23, missed three cuts, including at last week’s event, and had a withdrawal in four starts this season. He posted three top-10s in 22 starts last year, his first on the PGA Tour’s top developmental tour. India, 31, is looking for his first victory in his 99th career start on the tour. He tied for 10th last week in the season restart at TPC Sawgrass' Dye's Valley Course. The tournament is the second consecutive event to be played on the northeast Florida coast as the developmental tour resumes after a three-month shutdown during the coronavirus pandemic (scores).
