Luke List wins Korn Ferry Tour’s season restart

American parlays fast start in final round into 1-stroke victory at TPC Sawgrass’ Dye’s Valley Course, his 1st triumph on a major pro tour in 208 starts, spanning 8 years

208: Number of starts on the PGA and Korn Ferry tours, spanning eight years, since American Luke List had won a tournament. List, 35, birdied three of his first four holes Sunday at TPC Sawgrass’ Dye’s Valley Course and cruised to a 3-under 67 and one-stroke victory in the KFT’s Korn Ferry Challenge (scores) . It was the first tournament on the PGA Tour's top developmental tour in three months after the coronavirus pandemic suspended the season in March. List, a PGA Tour member this season, finished at 12-under 268. Americans Joseph Bramlett (68) and Shad Tuten (67) shared second place at 11-under 269. List won the 2012 South Georgia Classic on what was then known as the Web.com Tour. List, in his sixth season on the PGA Tour, qualified for the FedEx Cup playoffs in each of the past four seasons. He has 14 top-10 finishes in 157 starts but no victories on the PGA Tour. List is in the field for this week’s PGA Tour event, the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, S.C.
