Course ranks as 2nd-longest on developmental tour as PGA Tour hopefuls visit Mexico 1 week after WGC event in Mexico City
7,762: Distance, in yards, of El Bosque Country Club, the site of this week’s Korn Ferry Tour’ s El Bosque Mexico Championship. The course is the second-longest on the developmental circuit, behind only 7,991-yard TPC Colorado, site of the TPC Colorado Championship. Twenty Mexican players are in the field for the El Bosque event, which begins Thursday. The tournament is being held one week after the PGA Tour visited Mexico City for the WGC Mexico Championship, won by American Patrick Reed.
