South Korean cruises to a 3-stroke triumph in the Women’s Australian Open to end a nearly 2-year winless skid
20: Number of career victories on the LPGA for South Korea’s Inbee Park, who won the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open on Sunday. Park cruised home with a final-round 1-over 74 at Royal Adelaide Golf Club for a 14-under 278 total and three-stroke victory. American Amy Olson finished second at 11-under 281. It was the first triumph in 23 months for Park, 31, a seven-time major champion who moved into a tie for 26th on the LPGA’s all-time victory list and became the second-winningest South Korean, behind only 25-time winner Se Ri Pak.
