Rahm, 25, who lives in Scottsdale and went to college at Arizona State in nearby Tempe, has played TPC Scottsdale’s Stadium Course in four previous WMPOs, finishing as high as fifth and no worse than 16th, averaging 68.25 strokes per round. He enters Thursday’s first round at No. 3 in the Official World Golf Ranking and as oddsmakers’ 7-1 favorite to win his fourth PGA Tour title (tee times).
