Kentuckian has won 3 times on Latinoamerica Tour in past 3 years but struggled on the Korn Ferry circuit … until now
3: Number of times that Jared Wolfe, who held the 54-hole lead at the Korn Ferry Tour’s Bahamas Great Abaco Classic at Baha Mar on Tuesday, has won in the past three seasons on the Latinoamerica Tour. Wolfe shot 7-under 65 for a 15-under 201 total and one-stroke lead entering Wednesday’s final round at Royal Blue Golf Course in Nassau. Wolfe, 31, a Louisville, Ky., native who played college golf at Murray (Ky.) State, owns three victories among 16 top-10s in 38 starts spanning three seasons on the Latin American satellite circuit. His success on the Korn Ferry Tour is far more modest, with only two top-25 results in 42 starts dating to 2014. American Brandon Harkins (66) stood second at 14-under 202 (scores).
