Both capped 8-under rounds with birdies on the par-4 18th hole at Hualalai Golf Course in Kailua-Kona. Langer, 62, a two-time Masters champion, is seeking his 41st victory on the 50-and-older tour. Hale Irwin holds the tour’s all-time lead, with 45. American Woody Austin trailed by one stroke.
