Adam Scott ends nearly 4-year winless streak

Aussie claims his 2nd Australian PGA title

2: Number of times that Adam Scott has won the Australian PGA Championship as the Aussie secured his 11th European Tour title Dec. 22. Scott, 39, shot a final-round 3-under 69 for a 13-under 275 total at RACV Royal Pines Resort in Gold Coast, Australia. It was his first victory on a major professional tour in nearly four years. New Zealand’s Michael Hendry (69) finished two strokes behind. Australia’s Cameron Davis, who like Scott played for the Internationals in their recent loss to the Americans in the Presidents Cup, was among five players who tied for third. Scott, the 2013 Masters champion and a former No. 1-ranked player in the world, also won the Aussie PGA in 2013. His most recent victory came in March 2016, at the WGC Cadillac Championship (scores).
