Henrik Stenson moves up to No. 26 in world

Swede climbs 14 spots after Hero World Challenge victory

26: Position in the Official World Golf Ranking, an improvement of 14 spots, for Sweden’s Henrik Stenson, who won the Hero World Challenge on Sunday in the Bahamas. In winning the unofficial PGA Tour event that awarded OWGR points to the elite 18-man field, Stenson, 43, stepped into the winner’s circle for the first time since claiming the 2017 Wyndham Championship nearly 26 months ago. Stenson, the 2016 British Open champion, was a top-10-ranked player for much of the past decade, reaching as high as No. 2 in the world.
