Ko, Park and Lee6 rank 1-2-3 entering LPGA's Volunteers of America Classic

1-2-3: Position in the Rolex Rankings for South Koreans, the first time that one nation has held the top three spots since the rankings were introduced in 2006. Jin Young Ko begins her 10th consecutive week at No. 1, followed by No. 2 Sung Hyun Park and No. 3 Jeongeun Lee6, who moved up one spot this week, bumping American Lexi Thompson to fourth. Park will be the defending champion at the Volunteers of America Classic, which begins today at Old American Golf Club in The Colony, Texas (tee times).

7: Number of times that Sergio Garcia has won European Tour events in his native Spain. Garcia, 39, won the KLM Open in the Netherlands three weeks ago for his 16th career victory on the tour. The Spanish Open begins today at Club de Campo Villa de Madrid in Spain’s capital (tee times).

10: Number of 2020 LPGA tour cards at stake at the season-ending Symetra Tour Championship, which begins today at LPGA International’s Jones Course in Daytona Beach, Fla. (tee times). France’s Perrine Delacour, with $121,181, leads the season money list on the developmental tour. No. 10 Mind Muangkhumsakul of Thailand withdrew on the eve of the tournament, with no reason cited by the tour. She leads No. 11 Min Seo Kwak of South Korea by $10,176 in the quest for the final LPGA card for 2020.

14: Number of years since American Phil Mickelson has played in the annual PGA Tour stop in Las Vegas. Mickelson, 49, a 44-time winner on Tour, will be making his season debut today at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open at TPC Summerlin (tee times).
