ORLANDO, Fla. (Aug. 14, 2019) – The newly enhanced FedExCup Playoffs continue this week with the BMW Championship outside of Chicago with a field comprised of the top-70 players in the points standings. GOLF Channel and NBC will combine for 20 hours of live coverage Thursday-Sunday, with the top-30 in the standings advancing to the season-ending TOUR Championship in Atlanta. The Korn Ferry Tour Finals – a series of three events where players will compete for PGA TOUR membership for the 2019-2020 season – kicks off this week with the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship in Columbus, Ohio. GOLF Channel will air live coverage Thursday-Sunday. The PGA TOUR Champions head to upstate New York this week for the Dick’s Sporting Goods Open, and the European Tour stages the Czech Masters.

FedExCup Playoffs Continue: As part of the PGA TOUR’s enhanced schedule this season, the Playoffs now consist of three events. The top-70 players in the standings following last week’s NORTHERN TRUST are eligible to take part this week in the BMW Championship. Following this week, the top-30 will advance to next week’s TOUR Championship in Atlanta.
